2nd annual Local 444 BBQ

Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to invite you all to Local 444’s 2nd annual members BBQ.

Our BBQ will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 11 AM – 5 PM at Roberts Park at 10570 Skyline Blvd in Oakland. We would love for you to join us with your family and friends. We will be providing tri-tip, chicken, hot links, and sausages cooked by brother Taz Price as well as snacks, sides, and non-alcoholic drinks. We plan on having the food cooked and ready to eat around 12:30. You are more than welcome to bring your favorite desserts or preferred beverages. Beer and wine (NO LIQUOR) are allowed at Roberts Park but please keep in mind that this is a family event and you will most likely have to drive home.

We have reserved the Bay Vista picnic site near the lower parking lot. Parking costs $5 and you can pay by credit or debit only (no cash) at the kiosk. If you would prefer not to pay for parking, there is a trailhead roughly .1 miles past (North) the entrance to Roberts Park on the left (West) side of the road. Parking at the trailhead is limited (10-15 spaces) and first come first serve.

Come celebrate with us and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Grab your sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, and maybe your favorite game or activity and come have a bite to eat, hang out with your fellow brothers and sisters, and explore the park. To find directions (both driving and public transit), a site map of the park, park hours, or to check out what resources the park has for you and your family to enjoy please visit the Roberts Regional Recreation Area website at www.ebparks.org/parks/roberts
