AFSCME Local 444 lends a hand with diaper drive for local families in need

At our October General Membership meeting, Local 444 voted to donate $1000 to 4Cs of Alameda County and State Assemblywoman Liz Ortega’s 3rd annual diaper distribution in Hayward. On Thursday November 20, AFSCME Local 444 President Eric Larsen and Member Relation Secretary John Halseth went to 4Cs of Alameda County’s office in Hayward to help distribute diapers to families in need. AFSCME Local 444 received a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Legislature and Eric and John got a picture with State Assemblywoman Liz Ortega. Eric and John were proud to represent Local 444 and help our neighbors in need.
