Local 444 voted to Endorse at the recommendation of the Political Action Committee; Marguerite Young for East Bay MUD, Board of directors’ seat for Ward 3 !
Marguerite Young has an 8 year proven track record as a member of the East Bay Mud Board of Directors. She has looked out for the district and the Brothers and Sisters employed with East Bay MUD, supporting locals 444, 2019, 39, and 21 in fair wage packages and ensuring safe work practices since the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Local 444 encourages all registered voters who reside in the Ward 3 area to re-elect Marguerite Young for the Board of Directors seat in Ward 3 this November 8th.

Corina Lopez has served on the San Leandro City Council for 8 years, 2 years on the San Leandro School Board, and currently sits on the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee. Local 444 believes Corina Lopez will be an asset for East Bay MUD Board of Directors with her belief in a balance of Environmental and Social justices.
